Start With Google Adsense

Google Adsense is a Pay Per Click (PPC) program, allowing you to display advertisements

related to your website content and get paid for each click.

• To start displaying advertisements on your website you will first need to sign up to Google Adsense. (You will need to give a website URL, so make sure your website is ready before submitting it to Adsense)

Once Adsense accepted your website, follow these simple steps to get started and generate revenue.

• Open your website in a website editor (Dreamweaver, FrontPage...) and prepare to add a javascript code


• Log in to your Google Adsense Account

• Choose what type of advertisements you want:

"Adsense for Content" is a text link advertisement related to the content of your website. "Adsense for Search" allows you to integrate the google search engine into your website and earn money each time someone makes a search with it. "Refferals" are products (Picasa, Adwords, Adsense, Firefox...) on which you can make commissionss by reffering it to other people.

• For text link (which are the best) choose "Adsense for Content" and follow instructions, you will need to choose a format and color for your ads.

• This is it, the last thing to do now is to insert your google adsense javascript code into your website. To do this :

Copy the adsense javascript code Go to your website editor Click on your website where you want the advertisement to be displayed Go to the HTML of your website Paste the Google Adsense javascript code

• Now upload your website on your server and enjoy !
